A retired attorney with an extensive background in state government, Vanessa has dedicated her career to advancing equity, compliance, and access—whether through litigation, policymaking, or hands-on organizational change.

As CEO, she guides True North’s mission with a steady hand and a sharp legal mind, combining compassion with accountability. Known for her thoughtful approach, deep integrity, and strategic thinking, Vanessa ensures every engagement is grounded in the values at the heart of True North: Justice, Courage, Temperance, and Wisdom.
